The Rural Hotel Orti di Nora was opened in May 2015 with the aim of reigniting a bond with nature and with the territory that surrounds us. The hotel is set within a farming estate of about 20 hectares, with olive groves, vineyards, citrus groves, greenhouses and local wildlife. The main building has undergone a full renovation, which was completed in January 2015.
The bed & breakfast option includes both comfortable rooms, tastefully and elegantly furnished, with independent access and equipped outdoor patio area, and mini-apartments, for a free and independent holiday experience, equipped with kitchen nook, furnished patio and garden with barbecue area. All room types (standard rooms and mini-apartments) are equipped with the following facilities: air conditioning, TV with LCD screen, safe, minibar, en-suite bathroom with shower, hair dryer.
The “Orti di Nora” farm is first and foremost a team of people dedicated to preserving awareness and tradition, love for the land and the fruits that it offers us. The products on offer, such as oranges, lemons, olives, grapes and wine, are the result of our daily sacrifices. The care we take over the smallest details, our love, passion and patience are the elements that determine the quality, character and soul of our products. For the kids, we also have various animals on the farm, such as ostriches, peacocks, ducks, donkeys and horses. We look forward to sharing all of this with you.
We offer a variety of services for our guests to enjoy: two swimming pools surrounded by greenery, one of which is a heated 37°C jacuzzi, a fully equipped gym, a spa with jacuzzi, Turkish bath and ice bath and sauna, as well as open green spaces for jogging.
At our spa you can enjoy an invigorating cleanse in the Turkish bath and ice bath, tone up with the water jets of the heated pool and enjoy the beneficial properties of the salt sauna and infrared sauna, then relax on the heated water beds and enjoy a herbal tea. And for fitness lovers, there is a gym with Tecnogym equipment.
We will welcome you to our restaurant warmly and cheerfully, offering the quality that is our hallmark. Our typical local dishes, made with genuine and fresh ingredients, combine originality and experience. Made for you as if cooked for family.
Hotel guests can opt for half board with à la carte menu with a choice of seafood, vegetables and meats and the best traditional Sardinian dishes.

The unique features of the island have been celebrated since ancient times, when populations of traders and conquerors made Sardinia their home. An island with a distinctive character, it stands out for its rich natural landscape and the hospitality of its people. The coast is dotted with spectacular beaches which embrace the south of the island with Mediterranean colours and scents. To discover the history of this land, why not visit the charming Roman ruins of Nora, just a few miles from the hotel, and many other heritage sites that dot the area. For lovers of tradition, several folk celebrations and festivals draw visitors to this part of the coast year round. Not to be missed is the charming festival of Sant’Efisio, held every year on 1 May, without fail, since 1657. This colourful religious procession features folk groups in traditional costumes from all over the island. The procession ends in the Romanesque church at Nora beach, which was consecrated in 1102.
Nora was perhaps the first true city of Sardinia, a magical place founded by the Phoenicians on ancient Nuragic ruins. Conquered by the Romans in 238 BC, it became a municipality and the capital of the Roman province of Sardinia and Corsica. The site, located on the far side of Nora beach, preserves the precious mosaics of the Roman houses, the remains of the ancient baths and the temple of Aesculapius, which overlooks the sea at the far end of the peninsula. The theatre, which is largely intact, still hosts performances by international artists.
